A Basic History of the United States, Volume 1 : The Colonial Experience, 1607-1774 (Audio) by Clarence B. Carson
Quit 18% of the way through on Audio. Reader was fine. But there is too much of an agenda with religion and European supremacy and how famous people are so much great than everyone else. Jesus was certainly real and was really the son of God, in case you didn't know. Clarence Carson said so, so it must be true. This is really silly stuff. Mind you it has a quirky entertainment value. Funny that it's used a lot for homeschooling. Sad too.
A Basic History of the United States: 5 Volume Set: Colonial Experience, Beginning of the Republic, Sections and the Civil War, Growth of America, Welfare State by Clarence B. Carson
My choice for my American History review this year is this series by Clarence Carson. I just began the first one, will review when I have a better feel for it.
