This is a cute book for young children. It clearly explains to the reader what a map is, and how helpful maps can be. It also has cute pictures to illustrate different kinds of maps.

I would read this book to my students at the beginning of the school year, and then as a class we would create a map of our school on a large piece of poster paper to hange on show more the bullitin board. It was a cute book for chldren who are learning to read. I enjoyed the little cat and mouse throughout the book.
