Loved it! If you enjoyed the previous books in this series, you're going to want to follow up with this one too. The locale is different, but the sense of community is still there (not only briefly with the Scilly community, but with the new temporary one within the apartment building in London). Even though I hope the story gets back to the isles soon, perhaps in a couple of books, the change of scenery was fun and perfectly timed. After the tragic loss at the end of the prior show more novel, the lighthearted Clue version of Rear Window here keeps the audience entertained. Readers also learn more about the MC's background (her family specifically). I can't wait to the next one. Great book for a Spring read.

A swashbuckling addition to a lighthearted cozy mystery series, this latest book is emotionally the polar opposite of the previous novel (which keeps readers on their toes). While the previous book was darker, The Sunken Truth addresses some serious themes, but overall it's more mystery than murder (mystery of the crime, mystery of central characters' backgrounds, pirate mystery). The book incorporates an iconic setting and successfully utilizes a small-town atmosphere with loveable show more characters who use their own grapevine communication system to solve multiple mysteries. Loved it.

A Cornish cozy with plenty of the original characters and several new ones to keep readers entertained, this sequel is overall a lighthearted mystery with a small community fellowship. The MC is still growing into her new home and ice cream shop while moonlighting as a unintentional PI. The mystery part of the plot is a big switch from the first novel, but still easily readable and enjoyable. Looking forward to the next installment.

A nail-biting addition to a delightful coastal cozy mystery series, book 4 is an emotional rollercoaster ride, especially with the will-they-or-won't-they status between the MC and the PC. Lily also gets a little closer in discovering some of her past connections with the small community. The murder mystery is tragic but the villagers come together to crack the case (the culprit isn't obvious, which makes the story much more enjoyable). There's an intense boat chase, a new character or two show more that you hope will stick around or at least return in a future book, and some characters that have developed into essential ones. Can't wait until the next book!
