Melissa usually stayed late in the library where she worked. She had no family and no close friends, so she preferred to read her beloved books rather than go home. Except, one night, she heard what sounded like a kidnapping outside and despite not being a physically imposing threat, she confronted the group of men outside. Brave or stupid? She only knows she couldn’t let something happen to the girl without trying to save her. Luckily for Melissa two show more men showed up to take the kidnappers down. Now these men, these gorgeous sexy men, want her for their mate. And she needs to make a choice. Brave or stupid?
This is one sexy hot read. Well-written and decently built for the short length, I would still like more info about the dragon world and the world of shifters in general. The chemistry between all three is off the charts hot, the switching POVs satisfies in a big way and the characters have enough development to be larger-than-life. As advertised it is a standalone, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want more of Draven, Ran and Melissa’s story. I hope to see them in future books. This new-to-me-author is one I’m going to revisit again. And again. show less

Genres; Action-Adventure, Adult, Fantasy, Humor-Comedy, Mystery, Paranormal, Romance.
4 Stars
Very few editing, etc. problems and nothing that interfered with the flow of the story in any way.
Biggest problem with show more any of these is the 'Cheese' factor.
This one is my favorite so far.
They are light, sweet and easy reads. They make you smile, roll your eyes and smile again.
Truthfully, they barely make the 'Adult' genre. But, there is enough to satisfy a reader like me when I am in the mood for a quick, fun read. And these are definitely fun.
They are also great reads for those who want an adult read without it being erotic, dark. The language is also very clean. I don't remember seeing any 'F' bombs, etc.
They are perfect for after you have read a very tense book or are having a 'Book Hangover'.
When you read them you actually feel the stress leaving your body, lol.
They really are just 'FUN' reads and very enjoyable. show less

Though I have these listed in the 'Adult' genre, they really are not overly graphic in any way. Truthfully, I have read some books considered YA that are more graphic and show more explicit then these are.
The writing is pretty smooth and flows easily. You will seldom find a typo or editing error.
These are very mild, fun and sweet paranormal dragon romances. Even the bad guy is not all that bad. Although the people he is involved with are freaky and nuts.
Red & Faye, the main characters in this one are fun and interesting. They may be my new favorites.
There is very little angst, tension, suspense nor drama in this story, nor the others up to this point. So you may find yourself a bit bored. However, they are fun and contain just a pinch of the above. They also have humor. Not enough to make you laugh your head off, but definitely enough to make you grin.
I recommend these for when you need some light reading that will warm your heart and put a smile on your face. show less

True rating is 3.75 stars.
There is some great snarky humor.
The romance area was pretty good.
I liked both Erin and Isaac (Zach).
There are some editing errors, but not show more many.
The writing flows relatively smoothly. So it is a quick and easy read, although there was one area that tended to lag.
My main problem with the story is it didn't go far enough. There was a lot of room for some great action/adventure and suspense. Unfortunately, every time the tension built up, for some reason the author rushed through it.
I really liked it, but did not fall in love with it.
For the most part the story was good and a lot of fun to read. show less
