I am so glad that I agreed to give my honest opinion in exchange for a free book. I am not giving up any spoilers.
I really appreciate the leading characters, Julie and Seth. I like how Anna presented their personalities. She was very descriptive without being boring, intermingled their back stories in the present while the events were happening.
This was not a cliffhanger, but it definitely left me with a strong desire to find out what happens next for Julie and Seth.

Rae is a werewolf with a secret. She doesn’t trust most people, especially alpha males, and she hates living under the horrible alpha of her current pack. When she finally receives a long-awaited transfer to the Twin Moon Ranch in Arizona, she doesn’t know what to expect but finds a kinship to the earth while avoiding the other wolves at her new home. But she can’t avoid Zach, a mix bred, and her inner wolf knows he’s her mate. A mate she never wanted.
Half coyote and half wolf, Zach show more knows what it’s like to be an outcast. His two animals constantly nag at Zach and argue with each other in his head, but they’re in agreement when they sniff out Rae. She’s their mate. His best friend, Ty, is the reigning alpha’s son and set to inherit the pack someday. He’s just as lonely as Zach, probably more so, but he’s obedient when it comes to his father. The cruel alpha, Old Tyrone, demands that no one touches the new she-wolf, but Zach can’t help the pull between him and Rae.
Rae and Zach are very likeable characters. The reader feels their hesitancy, loneliness, and alienation, and the strength they both find to love and trust the other.
Though I really liked this shifter story, the fight scene with the bad guy at the end was a little predictable. Rae’s actions over a perceived betrayal irked me, but I understand she needed personal time to fight her own demons before she gave herself fully to her destined mate.
My favorite scene is Zach and Ty’s “play” fight. I love a good bromance, and these two sexy shifters have that down pat.
This is a prequel novella to the Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch series, and I’m definitely interested in reading the other books.

Desert Wolf 3 is a short novella where we return to Twin Moon Ranch and the lives of it’s Alpha pair Ty and Lana.
This novella gives you a nice taste of the authors writing, characters, and world created. I recommend reading [b:Desert Moon|25066650|Desert Moon (The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch, #1)|Anna Lowe|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1425445374s/25066650.jpg|44582047] first since that is where we first meet Ty and Lana. Do you have to have read it first no, but it helps you get a fuller show more understanding of their feelings and life.
Desert Wolf 3 was a sweet return to Twin Moon Ranch and seeing Ty taking care of his baby girl all by himself for the first time. While his mate Lana got some much need wolf time/run with her friend Rae who is introduced in [b:Desert Hunt|25637095|Desert Hunt (The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch, #0.5)|Anna Lowe|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1433080776s/25637095.jpg|45453114]. It was nice to see that vulnerable side to the Alpha of Twin Moon Ranch as well as both ending up facing their own situations with the help of their friends.
What I love best about Anna Lowe is how vividly and in great detail she writes. She also gets the emotional journey of her characters down pat. As the reader you end up feeling what they feel and understand their inner dilemmas. They are the same things we all end up worrying about at one point or another in our lives.
I just love this series. It is one I highly recommend reading, especially if you are a wolf fan.

I was given a copy of this ARC for an honest review.
So far I have read Tangled Web, by Crista McHugh. I will post new reviews as I read more.
There may be some spoilers, but I'll try not to. Really.
I wasn't sure how much I would like this one, but it was more fantasy oriented than sci-fi (which I don't mind, but sometimes have a harder time getting into). I liked the story, although I do tend to get frustrated with heroines who don't just tell the truth, which leads to further show more problems--although I know that spoils all the fun in the end and would make life far too easy. Does that count as a spoiler? I liked Titus and Azhura, as well as the other friends Titus has at the palace; Marcus, Galerius, and Vallo. I loved the airships! I liked that Titus' mother liked Azhura right from the start, so there was no catty in-law stuff.
One thing I really did like was despite the fact that the truth wasn't revealed, the men really did actually think about the circumstances regarding her presence, the reputation of the Rabbit, and the fact that no harm had come to Titus in two weeks (the opposite, in fact), and they used their brains instead of jumping to conclusions--you can't blame them for doing that right away, but it didn't drag out forever, and I think that was really well done.
There's definitely a lot of romance--fans won't be disappointed, and I liked their mutual seductions, and Titus' restraint. All in all an enjoyable and exciting read! show less
