The Big Gentle Grizzly Bear
Smart Curvy Accountant
Fated Mates on Fate Mountain
Wow! This book is the best of series. I hope I can inspire you to read about this gentle giant shifter. Ms. Grove's talent story-telling skills are evident in this book. This book does not use sex to sale the story-line.
STORY LINE:
Author Scarlett Grove has given us the tale of Angus Grant, the big gentle giant. Angus has a good heart and a very large body as a grizzly bear shifter; he yearns for a mate but has not show more been matched on Mate.com with his 100% fated mate. Poppy Robins, accountant for Sound Import/Export, is curvy, wears glasses, a nonexistent romance life, and is lonely. She decides to fill out the questionnaire for Mate.com not expecting to find a 100% match but hopeful for a match with a hunky handsome shifter.
Poppy and Angus are a 100% match. Poppy receives an invitation to meet from Angus; after she finds something is rotten in her employers business, Poppy runs straight to Angus and Fate Mountain.
Come along as Poppy and Angus fight criminals, fall in love, and all that happens in-between.
CHARACTERS, PLOTTING, AND DEVELOPMENT:
Author Scarlett Grove created an engaging story-line for Poppy and Angus filled with mystery and crime, hot steamy attraction, and love scenes that are erotic page scorcher.
The story-line and plot is intriguing and will keep you reading from the first page to the last. The pacing was fast and did not slow or lag. I read this book straight through without stopping.
Angus and Poppy's characters are heart-warming. Ms. Grove gave Angus a heart of gold, patience, and determination to give Poppy time to know her heart. You will love Angus and Poppy.
Malcolm, Poppy's pet, was a stroke of genius. His inclusion into the story-line fit so well for Fate Mountain Lodge.
The rest of the gang is here as we follow the Rescue Bear Team as they prepare for Levi and Juliet's wedding, rescue Poppy, and watch in envy and love as Angus finds his fated mate.
Ms. Grove does not depend upon sex to sell the story-line; sex between fated mates is a part of shifter's traits as they have animal characteristics and instincts. Personally, if the sex is too explicit for me, I skip those parts.
Author Scarlett Grove has created a well-written and developed story with characters and a story-line you will love.
RECOMMENDATION:
This is my favorite book of the series, at least up to this point. I was waiting impatiently for Angus' story and was so glad this book was his story.
Though part of a series, this book is a standalone, however, you will love all the characters and story-lines in the series, therefore, I recommend you read the previous books.
This book contains love scene between two fated mates. If you do not like frank love scenes or sexual language this book may not be for you. This book is suitable for adults due to explicit sex and language.
I received this book from the author in return for an honest book review.

I was provided a ARC in exchange for a honest review. I have to tell you. After I read the description, I really wanted to win an ARC copy! I was so glad I did. I really wanted this book.
It was wonderful! I am the type of reader who tries to think of what will happen next, most times I find I am right and wish I could stop doing that. But with this book, everything I would think was gonna happen.....wouldn't happen and that my friends, was a good thing!!! I just had trouble putting this book show more down. It was sweet, and innocent, and everything I love about a romance book! The author actually put me in the mind of Jamie McGuire's writing style. I love all her books, and I just totally am loving Scarlett Grove! I can really see Ms Grove becoming a best seller!
All in all, you really must give this book a chance. Its a perfect read in my opinion! show less

I loved this book! In J.K. Harper's story, Protector Wolf, she explores a new situation for Shifters we don't see very often. I enjoyed being able to explore a bunch of different Shifters at once. In this box set, you will see everything from Dragons and Leopards to Wolves and Bears, and quite a few unlikely candidates in between. So, come take a trip with these wonderful authors and get your Shifter fix. I know I did! I just can't stop wanting more. These stories, even though they are kind show more of short, are fully explored and make for great afternoon reads. show less
Claire is a single mom with an infant daughter and two sisters to support. Her oldest sister, Reagan, is unstable and bipolar making her a joy to be around. Her younger sister is working to try to help support the family as well but she is wanting her own life away from the chaos that is the family home. Damien, a tattoo artist, comes to town because he is being blackmailed by his father’s old biker gang. He and Claire get a relationship going and both have dark secrets about their past show more that will endanger their future together.
This story was a little slow at the beginning and I confess I wasn’t sure if it would pick up. There were some down spots in the middle of the story as well. Overall the plot and story was good. There was some suspenseful moments when Damien had interactions with the biker gang. However, the gang just suddenly accepting with him with open arms after they way they had been acting in the beginning I had troubles with. This book is the beginning of a series so I hope that more of the story comes to light in future novels. show less
