A lovely book with attractive watercolour illustrations and rhyming text that is extremely educational. Gone from our house now, chiefly for the lack of shelf space and the fact that young readers grow up! But someone would definitely enjoy it. There's an explanation in the back for each letter/page/word in the book. I always appreciate that in an alphabet book this focussed with complex concepts.

A counting book about cranes coming together and moving all over. I was not crazy about this story because I feel as if a child might find it boring but the illustrations are beautiful.

This is a beautiful book of poems. Each season is accompanied by a lovely illustration and a beautiful poem representing the season. This would be a great book to incorporate poetry into a lesson on the seasons.

This book is about "Bedtime" for kids; supportive,gentle and caring parenting but also includes information about different animals and their young; what kind of environment they live in, what they eat etc.
I'd say it is intended for children from three to five years of age. No Plot.
