A dreamlike recollection of a Brooklyn arrest for carrying that reads like a Jim Carroll tale. This is artfully illustrated by Barr. The setting is awkward teen years, torn by complacent introversion and the scary appeal of the streets.
Too wordy and in a nutshell, meaningless to me. Sort of boring then.
the middle part of the grand dematteis trilogy, sandwiched by moonshadow and the sadly uncollected seekers into the mystery.
