Izzy Caliendo is a spoiled, pampered flirt that knows no boundaries. She sees no reason to find a job & fights anyone that suggests it. She's also fiercely protective of her entire family. Therefore, when she sees someone skulking around the resort setting up cameras, she assumes it's the press & goes out to destroy them. The misunderstanding wouldn't have happened if her brother had just told her what was going on. Like she was to know that Marc, her brother, had hired Gunner to help him show more out. It's too bad that such a sexy alpha man is such an arrogant ass!
Gunner Mann has been brought to the Caliendo Resort to help his benefactor Anton decipher the private files hidden in the secret room. Once he is done, Anton swears he will make sure Gunner is free from the Italian Caliendo's reach. He thought it would be an easy job until he saw her destroying his cameras. Izzy looks & acts just like his former wife - willful, spoiled, hot headed, attention seeking & narcissistic. He can't stand women like her. So why is he so attracted to her? Is there more to her than meets the eye?
This story has it all. It's funny in places, sarcastic, romantic, sad, mysterious & dangerous. The plot engages you in the beginning in what feels like a dangerous moment, hooks you with the hilarious scene at the pool & keeps you interested with drama & passion. The danger & anticipation builds as Izzy & Gunner get to know the private sides of each other instead of their public personas. These characters are proof that you can't always rely on first impressions . Shannyn Leah has done a masterful job at adding intrigue to her romance books. I'm hooked & can't wait for Corbin's story. show less

Violet is a puzzle within a puzzle. Her past has soured her on the institution of marriage and after her own divorce, she now helps others plan there weddings. Huh? Her past meets her present when she ends up entangled in planning her ex's upcoming wedding. Add in a best man she loathes more than her ex husband and the soap opera begins. Sunset Thunder puts the loco in crazy. The surprises are scandalous, the relationships titillating and the drama amplifies from uh-oh to HELL NO, rather show more quickly. Sunset Thunder took wrong to high frequency levels and delivered a performance that I'll not soon forget. On my list of re-reads. show less
The Davenports (and Daisy) are one hell of a cray cray family and an absolute hoot! This book gives you an intro to the family members and you get to know most of them pretty well although we still haven't really got to know the 2 Tweedles as much. I really loved how the book set the scene of the family and all their quirks that can leave you either cringing or lol or really glad they aren't your family but wish you knew someone like them ie I lurve Yaya she is an absolute hoot but there is show more no way I would want her as a family member or I would be forever on high alert around her!!! :D I can not wait to read the next edition of this series and see what happens next as the ending was like "Whaaat?!?!"

I want a bad boy like Dax, he may act all rough and growly,"supposedly" happy with a new woman a night, but someone has him hot and bothered. Dax's dad Rowdy took Ava in when she was alone and pregnant , in a way they adopted each other. The chemistry is a flowing between Dax and Ava , the emotions are all over the place and I'm loving it. You'll need ice to cool down, tissues for any crying and a drink by you because you won't want to leave your seat after you start reading. I'm ready for show more my next bad boy and I know that I'm going to enjoy it also show less
