I was with Rucker until he decided to characterize disability activists as unnecessarily angry spoilsports who taint abled/disabled relations by being all grouchy about silly matters like handicapped parking and rants. Given that I work in disability activism, I nearly threw the book across the room. You can thank those angry activists for every ramp you use, Mr. Rucker.
I didn't care about the "Sopranos", but as I was glancing through this book 2 recipes caught my eye; Ricotta Pineapple Pie, Stuffed Quail... and as I perused the pages there were a few more to my liking; Risotto w/ Truffles & Champagne, most All of the desserts, & Minestra (Escarole w/ Mini Meatballs).
Many of the dishes presented are easy to make......
I wish I had someone to cook for...I miss that!

This book was supposed to be funny, but I found it dated (it was published in 1985) and that many of the characteristics didn’t apply to white people at all (at least from my perspective).
