A particularly useful entry in Time-Life's excellent series; I used this to botch the drywall job I did in the kitchen of my old house. Wasn't this book's fault, though.

Time-Life's take on how to properly use and maintain fireplaces and wood stoves, building a brick fireplace and chimney, safe cleaning and repairing. All the additions to this series have been equally clear and useful, and very helpfully illustrated.

Extensive information and diagrams, illustrations of repairing and replacing walls. A real treat is the page on tin roofs.
