B. B. Hamel

Laney is a brilliant character, most are weedy and annoying but Laney has spunk. She wants eventually to become a member of the FBI and become even more kick ass.
Easton is an ex FBI agent, who's headed back to his hometown and is now a P.I but a very yummy sounding guy in general!
These two characters find themselves as step siblings thanks to their parents and the quick wedding. Not as simple as that tho there's cheating spouses to catch, naughty landlords... Oh and a serial killer to catch show more :)
Laney and Easton have chemistry and boy it's great chemistry!
I loved the characters and the plot of the book, the story kept me hooked as did the who dunit side. show less

WOW! This was HOT! Guess I've always looked at harems from the men's view and never thought about a reverse harem but it's very interesting. Yes, it's raunchy and considered taboo but it's still HOT! It's nice seeing the woman with the power and not being treated as just an object. It would take some very strong men to make this situation work but it's fun to fantasize about it. Ms. Hamel really makes these situations work and makes you look at things differently all while keeping you hot show more and bothered. LOL! Great job!

This was an okay read for me. The writing itself wasn't my problem, I wasn't a fan of Riley at all. It wasn't until the last couple of chapters that she stopped being a horrible person to Aaron. She was hateful and rude to him constantly. She blamed him for getting pregnant, even though SHE told him not to use a condom. She hated him for not liking her as a kid, and I mean come on. She was 12 when he was 16. That would have been a little creepy. Aaron got better as the story went on, even show more though he manipulated events to get Riley on a trip with him. He did end up having Riley's best interests in mind, and tried to give her everything she wanted. The HEA was good, and Riley was actually a good h in it.

Lots of action and lots of sex! If you don't like explicit language, then don't read this book. I don't mind it but thought it was a little excessive even for a Navy Seal. The story is good and the pace is fast. Overall, it was a good book and I would read more from this author.
