Mr. Allen delves into so many wonderful topics involving the Christian life. He shares many inspirational and encouraging thoughts in this tome. He shares them in a very conversational tone that connects with Christians in a colorful way. Highly recommend.

One scriptural interpretation that I had never heard before is that Jesus wept for Lazarus because he had to bring him back.

This small book is a wonder. The uncovering of the deeper meanings of the 23rd Psalm, Ten Commandments and the Beatitudes as "healing passages" are awesome. A layman's ability to read & follow along, the book is very clear & easy. God's Psychiatry is the best medicine I have ever come across; let alone take. The book actually deals with many problems we all face in a a frantic world. I recommend all readers to follow the seven day prescription and a week later you will be feel lighter & show more refreshed to head on out and ready to take on the world again. show less
