Heather Miller is the Director of LePage-Miller, Inc., an education firm based in New York City. She is a graduate of MIT, the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Miller has developed and delivered educational programs for children for over twenty years.

Great book for young readers. Colorful illustrations and large text make this an easy reader students in second grade and up. Picture glossary and quiz help students to focus and learn all about truck drivers-what they wear, what work to they do and what tools they use. Good collection in the series to have.
Very colorful illustrations with large easy to read text. Students will learn about the tools a construction worker uses, what they wear, the various type of work they do and how to become a construction worker. The quiz and the glossary is very helpful to students who are struggling readers. This book is recommended for 2nd grade and up. There is a table of contents with bolded text that corresponds to the picture glossary. There is also a quiz and a note to parents and teachers. This book works great with my 4K classroom in preparation to going to the dentist. This book is full of the things a dentist does and why! It seemed to help relieve some stress and nerves about the first time visiting the dentist.
This book is used as an addition to our dental theme week, where we also use large dental puppets for the children to learn proper brushing techniques.
