This is one of the best, if not the best book to read if you are contemplating convertion to Judaism. Rabbi Lamm is an excellent writer, very concise and knowledgeable . Although it is technically a book for converts, it's also a fantastic introduction to Judaism, whether you're converting or not.
I strongly recommend this book for those individuals seeking to convert to Halachic Orthodox Judaism. The stories of the individuals that converted, and the struggles that they encountered, make me appreciate Judaism that much more knowing the sacrifice people are willing to make to come to a knowledge of the ONE TRUE G-D. Baruch Hashem!
A very inspiring and spiritually uplifting reading. Author Lamm speaks from personal experience and from the experience of other people he narrates in the book.
This really is an invaluable text for all those considering conversion to (or just interest in) Judaism.
