This fascinating book is a wonderful combination of the academic, the artistic and the practical. As well as written discussion of the museums in question, there are coffee-table book standard photographs, and even floor plans. Divided into General Interest Art Museums, Specilialised Art Museums and other Museums, the selected venues span continents and areas of interest - from the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art in Helsinki to the Corning Museum of Glass in New York to the Nakatomi show more Memorial Medicine Museum in Saga Prefecture Japan.
This book would appeal to a broad audience - those interested in architecture, those interested in art, and those interested into what makes museum going such a pleasurable experience

This is a real, city loft book. Not so much for dreaming but for actual planning of how to allot space if you are lucky enough to have one.
A long time ago. Gosh! Nearly 20 years. I remember a wonderful lunch at Seteais.
