Marc Almond

An autobiography by the 80's singer of Soft Cell. The book is unusual in that it reveals his motivations, regrets and successes about everything of importance. Almond credits his "Guardian Angel" for steering him through some situations which shouldn't have ended well. If you are inclined to be fond of 80's English technopop, then this a good book. If you are of artistic bent, then this will be interesting as well. The book ends at the same time as the 9/11 attacks. He published an audio cd show more entitled The End of New York which prompted a rush promo advert which disassociated that title with the terror attacks. show less
