I really enjoyed the way this was written. It wasn't a chronological series of events but rather each chapter was about a particular person, place or major chunk of her life with wonderful reflection. This really added to my understanding of the type of person Adrienne Clarkson is, how she got to Rideau Hall and the attitude she had about the job. It is beautifully written, though I did enjoy the first half more than the second half.
i liked the way she organized this around people and events, not necessarily in order.
