This book is an expansion of lectures the author presented at the U. of Aberdeen on the education of Jesus. Though short & compacted (8 chapters with prologue & epilogue), he shares with his readers a journey that focuses on Jesus' education of life that was shaped by experience in village life, nature, annual visits to Jerusalem in the first century AD. It is a fascinating read on the world in which Jesus grew up.
