Reviews
I read the first two and last chapters. The Renaissance "humanized the object of wisdom and [/or] guaranteed the natural autonomy of its acquisition” (201). The peculiar fact that the Renaissance redefined wisdom as active virtue is not important to me.
The Foundations of Early Modern Europe 1460-1559 (The Norton History of Modern Europe) by Eugene F. Rice Jr.
Kurslitteratur i grundkursen i historia. Fast jag tyckte ändå att den var ganska trög att läsa.
