Robyn Maynard is a Black feminist writer, grassroots community organizer and intellectual based in Montreal. Her work has appeared in the Toronto Star, the Montreal Gazette, World Policy Journal and Canadian Women Studies Journal.

The audiobook narrator for this one wasn't a very good choice. Sounded almost happy about the subject matter. It was a bit off-putting. Otherwise the book was very informative and a bit difficult to to get through existentially. Thanks for the history lesson!
Very informative book, also quite a dense read.
