Although this is fiction, the author is well versed in the history of Ancient Egypt. What she has done is bring it to life, a bit like getting into a time machine and being allowed to watch closely as Her Bak learns about life from his elders.
This book was written by the wife of RA Schwaller de Lubicz, whose masterful work on the sacred geometry of the Egyptian temples also sits in my library. Unlike her husband, Isha writes in a way that is easier to understand by the mathematically challenged, like myself. She is also an artist who did many of the drawings and copies of tomb or temple walls for her husband's work. I would suggest this book to anyone who owns "The Temple of Man", and even to beginners who are interested in show more learning about the religion of Ancient Egypt. show less
Written in the form of a novel the story follows the paces of a boy to become an initiate Egyptian sacred knowledge. The book is good for history and archeology students - since there are true facts and references, but to the people simply fascinated by the Ancient Egypt civilisation.
