A very good narration of the miraculous event that happened at Fatima, Portugal, wherein many people witnessed the Miracle of the Sun by the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Relato de las apariciones de la Virgen en Fátima. Expone muy bien el contexto en que vivían los tres pastorcillos portugueses (ambiente social y político, costumbres del lugar, etc.), que ayuda a comprender el sentido y alcance de los mensajes marianos.
Her prophecies of World War II and the rise of communism, her plea for penance, and her promise of the conversion of Russia are among the dramatic moments in this fascinating account of a modern miracle.
2906 Saints in Action, by William Thomas Walsh (read 6 Sep 1996)This is the author's posthumously published hagiographical account of St. Peter, St. Ignatius of Antioch, St. Justin, St Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Patrick, St. Benedict, and St Gregory I the Great. The book is learned and very pro-saints, and while I have long read about and been interested in saints this book is so hagiographical that I really did not get too interested in it.
