A no holds barred transcript and definition of typical South African racial policies. Steve Biko lets the court have it all. A must read for all with an interest in the history of South Africa. Biko was probably the greatest leader South Africa never had
The writings in I Write What I Like are lasting legacy that Steve Biko bequeathed the people of South Africa. Biko's views remain current today as they were when he expressed in writing or speeches. Many thinkers, including former South Africa president Thabo Mbeki, have come to harness Black Consciousness in shedding light in Africa's many problems. As South African grapple with problems facing their country Biko's writings could come in handy.
This book contains selected writings from Biko.It is very inspirational, especially when one looks at how racism affected the black South Africans in the apartheid days. His writings clearly show how commited and passionate Biko was.His state of mind was way ahead of his times.
