Alison Jolly was a world-renowned primatologist and conservationist. A portion of recently restored forest in Madagascar is named after her, as well as a new species of mouse lemur. She died in 2014.

Originally, I picked this up at the library as material for a research report, but instead, I found myself fascinated by the history of Madagascar, as well as learning about the lemurs and people who live there.
