I'm not a gardener, but I am an admirer of the arts and crafts movement. This book is lovely, full of photographs, showing the relationship between the "house beautiful" and the "garden beautiful", and how the tenets of the movement were applied to the outdoors.
This is a beautifully illustrated and well written history of this early twentieth London century garage building that was recently converted to a stylish restaurant by Terence Conran.
