I love the whole IBP universe. This series is something pretty awesome within that universe through. I mean, it's a woman's world in this one. The planet of Alera is ruled by women and has never had a reigning king. It's impossible for it to have a reigning king. I've truly enjoyed following the story of Celene, Trinity, Faith, and Destiny.

This is the last book in Faith's trilogy. I came into this book pretty sure that Thor was an idiot, and there's not a whole lot that he does in the show more beginning to make me think otherwise. I think he finally gets it, but he needs to get smacked around a little bit. Or maybe just shot in the derriere with a tranq dart. Whichever gets the job done.

Faith is fierce. I mean that in pretty much every possible way. She's going to do everything she can to make sure that she can protect what's hers, no matter what. Thor is trying to be honorable, at least his own definition of honor. He doesn't necessarily stop and think, but he's at least trying.

Grace Goodwin is one of those authors who is a guaranteed 1 click for me. I love her mix of scifi and romance. Her world-building is simply some of the best that I have ever seen. It's a big world with some pretty defined edges, but not so defined that she can't make changes or add new series or rules in. Really, just very well done books, altogether.

Fighting for Their Mate is an admirable addition to the Interstellar Brides series.

Chloe worked for the Coalition Intelligence department. show more When her stint was done, she was sent back to Earth, but it was like putting on a coat that no longer fit. She knew too much and had seen too much and Earth was just too small for her anymore. So she signed up for the IBP.

Seth is a human whose sister is happily mated to an Atlan. She gave him the gift of testing for a mate. It had been a year, and he was pretty happy with that. He didn't want to have a mate and then end up leaving her alone if something happened.

Dorian is a Prillon warrior. They always mate in pairs, so that their mate is never left alone without someone to protect her and their children. When Seth gets matched, he gets really upset. When Dorian talks to him and finds out his worry, he volunteers to be Seth's second, so that their mate and children would never be left alone.

I loved this story. I loved the fact that Seth chose to go the way that he did. Chloe may be my new favorite woman in this whole universe, and that's saying something. She's really strong, she's really smart, and she fights really hard for the things that she knows are right. She's also madly in love with her mates and is more than happy to be with them.

This book has some different aspects to most of the other IB books, but I think that it really enhances the book, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the next book plays out.

I love reading Grace Goodwin's world. Her Interstellar Brides books are some of my favorite scifi romance books to read. Strong and feisty human women with awesome alpha alien hunks is pretty much an equation for hot, sexy, romantic reads. Not only that, but Grace Goodwin always makes sure to put in a good story along with all the steamy, steamy stuff. I know that I'm going to fall in love with the characters and enjoy the story.

Dani has watched her friends Lexi and Katie find their Everin show more Matched Mates. She knows that hers is out there somewhere, but he won't come to the Touchstone and when they dreamshare, he tells her to go and find someone else. She's so not down with that. He's hers, and she's going to prove it to him. So she leaves the Touchstone to go find her man.

Gage is Dani's Matched Mate. He has been kidnapped and locked away. He doesn't want Dani in danger, so he tells her to go find a different mate. What he doesn't know is that Earth women are stubborn, and she's coming for him.

Dani is my favorite Everin bride, I think. She's stubborn and knows what she wants. She can also back it up. I mean, that's exactly what she did. She was smart and used her skills and her learning to do what she needed. When push came to shove, she showed her true grit and determination. Poor Gage, he doesn't know what he's in for when it comes to Dani. I hope he's ready.

I always look forward to Grace's world, and I'm going to be so sad when she doesn't write in this world anymore. It's a great mix of love, action, light, dark, sweet, and somewhat scary.

Oh heavens. Grace Goodwin has done it again. The Interstellar Bride books just continue to get better and better with every addition. This one brings us back to the main series of the universe. We also get to go back to Viken, ruled by the triplet kings and their human bride.

Many Viken warriors are choosing to mate in groups of threes, just like their kings, but Calder, Zed, and Axon aren't in that group of warriors. They each want a bride that they can call their own and that they can love show more and build a family with. But when they all show up at the same transport pad, they have an idea that something may be wrong.

Violet has gone to the IBP testing center because she misses her twin sister, Mindy. Mindy left her abruptly to get tested and went to Trion. Violet's just sure that she will end up on Trion with her sister, because they are identical twins, so when her testing shows that she is going to go to Viken, Violet refuses, saying it's Trion or nothing.

There's a whole lot of things going on in this book, but to me, it boils down to family, what is a family and what it takes to become a family. Violet is a strong character who knows who and what she wants and isn't afraid to stand up to any and every one in order to make what she wants reality. Axon, Zed, and Calder are strong characters too, but they had their own journey to go through, especially Calder. I loved watching the journey that they each took to get where they needed to be.

I can't wait for the rest of the series. It never comes soon enough.
