A serious book about various aspects of time, from cosmology, entropy and time travel to knowledge, causation, and explanation. I must admit that the level of difficulty was a bit too high for me so I didn't really gain much from reading this book. Also, the author cares mostly for analytical rigor so his style of presentation promptly suffocated my interest. I was not very convinced by the parts about entropy and time travel. Some of his theories seemed quite vacuous, particularly the one show more about time travel being possible while improbable coincidences would have to make it impossible for a person to kill his earlier self. Certain questions about time can definitely be answered better by science than by philosophy. show less
