Mr. Freeze steals diamonds, until Poison Ivy convinces him to destroy humanity.
1.5/4 (Meh).
I understand why people hate this movie. It's extremely dumb, and it's a comedy without any laughs. On the other hand, it's always trying to be entertaining (even though it fails, TRYING to be entertaining is more than you can say for certain Batman movies I can think of). It's garbage, but it's fast-paced, campy garbage. I'd rather watch this than The Batman, or Batman Forever, or even Batman Returns. show more The biggest problem I had with it is the lighting. Everything is LEDs and blacklights; besides being ugly, it's exhausting to look at that for two hours.

A New Yorker is thrown by a blizzard/tornado into an urban fantasy world.
Everything about this movie should have made for greatness, but it just doesn't work. It's joyless and tedious. Exhaustingly tedious.

Batman: The Motion Picture Anthology 1989-1997 (Batman / Batman Returns / Batman Forever / Batman & Robin) by Tim Burton
The first movie is easily the best, but the rest of the movies are fun if you don't take them TOO seriously.
A fun take on the vampire genre mixed with the 'new kid in town' cliche.
