Another excellent Tarquin book. The idea is to actually build the various pop-up by cutting up the book. Since mine was a library copy, I could not do that.

A basic dictionary or encyclopedia of mechanisms which can be used to design pop-up books. Each mechanism (with a working model) can be used as a starting point for group, series and sequence, and is elaborately discussed and diagrammed. Paper cover.
