This is a purse/pocket-sized map that folds out larger so that it both saves space and gives you lots of information. The back cover contains a metro map; the inside covers have detailed maps of Dupont Circle and Georgetown; and the foldout maps within show the greater Washington area on the left and a more in-focus look at the popular Washington Mall area, which is particularly useful for tourists. The maps highlight many museums, restaurants, metro stops, etc. Everything is clearly labeled show more and easy to navigate. We definitely turned to this map a few times on our short trip to plot out our next stop -- even with smartphone maps, we found this was useful to have as well. The phone apps got us from place to place with point-by-point directions, but this map was helpful for giving us a general sense of where things were located and their proximity to each other. show less

Keep this little gem in your pocket. It is a great tool for using the Metro. You can get around Paris just fine. What it lacks in detail can be made up by stopping for lunch at a cafe and asking the waiter when he brings you your wine.

Keep this little pocket gem handy. It can help you find major points in a flash. You can use it to find Tube stations. One word of warning about London? Street names are never in plain view. They are not on poles but on walls. They are frequently hidden behind things. Also, streets frequently don't continue on after an intersection, but for basic "getting around" this little pop out will do a big job.
