This is a project book designed to help a girl learn to quilt, starting with a small pincusion and working up to a lap quilt. I don't think it would be enough for her to work through without an experienced quilter to help. I can think of better ways to go about it if I were working one-on-one with her. This might be a good workbook for teaching a class, though.
Forty five projects with complete instructions, cutting diagrams and assembly instructions with photos of the finished product make this a very useful book for anyone wanting to make Christmas decor or presents. Projects are all ranked by skill level.
