I liked the book of this better than the movie---a lot easier to understand since it introduces the characters and localities, then the story.
Since the story does not resemble Carroll's story I cannot understand why the movie was not called Alice in Underland, considering Underland is what it is referred to most in this MTI book.
I must admit it is beautifully illustrated, however.

This science fiction book is for early readers who are just beginning to read on their own. It follows a young Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi as they struggle to protect Padme Amidala from those seeking to assassinate her. One such assassin named Zam Wesell is killed after her attempt failed so the team searches for her killer in order to find the mastermind behind it all. Following this, the book enters upon a clone army - all cloned from one bounty hunter named Jango Fett. Obi-Wan show more finds that Jango Fett was the one who killed Zam and attacks! But he escapes to a nearby planet called Geonosis. It is here that the team discovers the droid army, lead by the evil Sith lord, Count Dooku. The Count is able to capture every one of the team of Jedi's coming in search of him, but more soon show up to help. However, there are still too many droids and they are soon surrounded - just when all hope seemed lost, the clone troopers arrive to fight off the droids and save the Jedi! Count Dooku escapes, but is found, and has a duel with both Anakin and Obi-Wan, but he is too powerful for them. The little Grand Master of the Jedi, Yoda, appears and fights off the evil Count Dooku... Again, he flees, this time to regroup with the Sith Master - a sinister and especially evil Sith named Darth Sidious. While the search is on for the Sith, Padme and Anakin fall in love and have a secret wedding, which only their droids (C-3PO and R2-D2) attend. show less
