Travel and Adventure in South-East Africa: Being the Narrative of the Last Eleven Years Spent by the Author on the Zambesi and Its Tributaries; With an Account of the Colonisation of Mashunaland and the Progress of the Gold Industry in That Country by Frederick Courteney Selous
This book is amazing. Read it purely for an accurate idea of what life as a hunter in southern Africa was like before the Boer War. Selous experienced wonderful things. Today it is absolutely impossible for a human to live the life that Selous lived during the 11 years covered in this book. This fact makes this a fantastic read.
