This was on the sale shelf at my local library. It's rare I give Love Inspired Suspense more than an average rating.

The Pros:
*The story drew me in from early on.
*I liked that it started out with Rose being the strong one and Noah being the character who needed help. I also liked that this became more equal as the story progressed.
*Oscar
*The author let the romance develop at a realistic pace. By the end of the book, they're only agreeing to date (though we know that the author will have show more theirs be a true love and that they'll eventually be married). Hopefully the author will continue the realistic pace and let them move past the infatuation stage before they end up engaged/married.
*The supporting cast: There are many characters that I'd like more backstory on--Thomas, Michael, Chris, Willy, and Beau. I'd also like to see TJ's story continue and have him find someone.

I really enjoyed this clean, Love-Inspired, romantic suspense. It pulled me in from the beginning and held my attention till the end. I voluntarily chose to review this and I've given it a 5* rating. There is a lot of action and a little bit of romance. This sure had a lot of twists and turns, along with plenty of bad guys, plus a K-9 dog too. They sure add a little extra to the stories. A nice ending to this too. I just can't go wrong with the love inspired series.
An enjoyable story that starts with a kidnapping and a mountain rescue. The story has a good mix of action, romance, and suspense while heroine Zoe and hero Jack search for the kidnap victim (Zoe's friend) and kidnapper along with Jack's adorable search-and-rescue dog named Romeo. Likable characters and an interesting storyline make for an entertaining read.
Witness Pursuit (Echo Mountain 5) by Hope White
Read 10/8/16 Reviewed 10/15/16

Witness Pursuit, the fifth book in Hope White’s Echo Mountain series Cassie McBride finds a dead body and a frightened dog while she is cleaning one of the rental cabins where she works. If that’s not bad enough, she sees the murderer coming back to bury his victim and then he sees her. While running to escape her pursuer she calls family friend police Chief Nate Walsh. So begins a lot of running, hiding, being show more found and several attempts on her life while Nate tries to keep her safe and keep from falling in love with Cassie. This is a good suspense story with strong main characters and great secondary characters (some from previous books in the series and some new). Although this is part of a series all books are standalone. I recommend this book and the entire series. show less
