Although a little dated, this book provides a competent overview of jellies, their life cycle, symbiotic relationships, and relations. Almost every page has a full-color photograph or diagram which adds a lot of visual interest. The end notes provide teaching suggestions, and there is a glossary and index.
This book is about sharks and their world around them that they use to survive. It talks about their behavior, different kinds of sharks, how we as people observe them, and how we interact with them. I really liked this book because the ocean and I have a love hate relationship for this reason, SHARKS! It is not overwhelming to read and there is a lot to learn. There are pictures to look at as you read the book. There a just some facts about the sharks and really interesting things to read show more about them. Maybe while doing a ocean theme with kids they could look at this book and draw pictures or write down some things they learned about sharks after looking at the book. I also know how to make a really fun shark puppet! show less
