About the Author
Thomas Boston (1676-1732) was a Scottish Presbyterian minister. He studied at the University of Edinburgh, and was a recognized Hebrew scholar. His main pastorate was at Ettrick, Selkirkshire, where he was installed in 1707.

a must read for any believer.... the modern english version is a very good translation without the challenge of "puritan-ese".... which i personally enjoy... but this version makes it kinder to all kinds of pallets :)

This is a short read, written by Thomas Boston a 'Scottish Puritan'. He has a sensitive spirit but also a first class mind. A man with retentive memory but also a way with words, he always thought best with a pen in his hands, writing out ideas and arguments as they came to him.
This is a classic explanation of the Puritan approach to evangelism that is also an encouragement for anyone explaining the gospel to someone else.
