Trevor Griffiths (1) (1935–2024)

A play in which a group of unfunny comedians practice their routines in front of a professional, hoping to be signed. they depart from the prepared script that their teacher had prepared with them, going off on their own in an act of rebellion that probably costs them their future. It is difficult to tell who the actual protagonist is, or what the play is trying to do, though there is definitely a message here. It's so cryptic that it's hard to tell if the piece is against political show more correctness, or pointing out that doing your own thing doesn't always get you anywhere, or what. Overall, it wasn't particularly entertaining and did not keep me involved. show less
