This is a great reference book with many wonderful color illustrations of all aspects of Native American daily life, traditions, and culture. It is divided into the different regions of the U.S. and there are two pages each on thirty different topics. The book points out that there are various migration theories as to who/when human beings crossed the Bering Strait and began to settle North America.

Appropriate for grades 3 – 7.

The book is about the Native Americans. It details the different tribes, where they lived, and facts about each tribe.
