Being a rather unorthodox study of the Brotherhood, with a great deal of emphasis on backroads such as Pre-Raphaelitism in America and a lot more than you probably need to know about Jno. Ruskin. The illustrations are similarly offbeat and are always interesting if often a little minute, especially for such a physically large book.

An excellent overall history of the Arts and Crafts Movement with some first class pictures of furniture and buildings plus some of the main exponents of this genre.
