Had to read for a class, ended up loving it. Note however I am thirsty for church history and this was right up my alley. It is not exhaustive and touches on each part of the globe. It is written from a catholic perspective (which is subtle as he tries to be objective) and he tells in the start of the book all of his influence on what he’s writing. How Christianity fluctuated in each area and why.
Recommended read for who desire a kickstart on Christianity in the world.
