A Sacred Union of Citizens: George Washington's Farewell Address and the American Character by Matthew Spalding
As I read this book, Spalding reminded me again of the importance of ethics, integrity, leadership and commitment to these United States. Washington knew how to lead and the importance of being the first President of this fragile new experiment. He set the standard for a two-term presidency and how to gracefully step away to relinquish his office to the next elected president.
This is a book to be pursued with purpose.

This is an essential book for those who want to understand what the Constitution means. It does a great job of going through the constitution and laying it all out.
