This may be the best of the series. I haven't read several of them for awhile so I forget small details, so no betting on it, but it was a surprisingly good sequel. Bring on the tentacles! That hilarious, awkward conversation with Randall leading the way about female anatomy - including finger and hand signals - yep, a winner.
The alien next door wants the curvy soap maker. It was good, super cute and the MMC was goals minus the lock her in the house but honestly I could kinda understand. Loved the consent forward focus and the protective head over heels give. Took a star away because not a fan of the whole “want you to have my babies thing”. Car crash at the end to force drama felt unnecessary?
I took a chance on a cheesy looking and sounding Kindle Unlimited book based on high rating and water-creature mood -- and I'm pleased I did. It turned out fascinating, truly beautiful, slow building, downright hot in the right spots, not cheesy, and layered. Recommended for fans of unusual romance.
I just skimmed it, since it’s a new author to me. Definitely more romance than erotic which doesn’t really do anything for me without other draws like character and plot. There was plenty of titillation but nothing really happened in that arena until 3/4 of the way through. And I’m showing my monster f*cker ass by saying so, but it was pretty vanilla! The relationship is hetero, the heroine is tiny, and the sex was as missionary as a spider man can get. Light bondage. I’m spoiled by show more Katee Robert and the Dark Olympus and Deal with a Demon series. Fat folks, gay folks, poly pods, non traditional genitalia, and le spice! show less
