Overall a pretty solid adaptation of the book, I quite enjoyed it and I would recommend it Octavia Spencer does an especially good job in her role but there were plenty of other fun actors in this.

OK. As I had read the book and knew the plot it's hard to evaluate this film from that perspective. Far too much unnecessary sex and nudity portrayed when just a hint would have done. Average film.

Had me guessing right up until the very end. I like Gone Girl and loved the similar read. Lots of twists and turns.

Great story about black help for the wealthy in the 50's and 60's. This is being made into a movie.
