Reviews
This is a quite full collection of traditional English carols edited by Edith Rickert, who was one of my mother's teachers in the Chaucer Lab at University of Chicago. The brief introduction was scholarly for its time (1914) but may now be dated, as in references to "pagan" Christmas customs. The book gives the lyrics of the songs, but no music.
