Board book featuring an attached clock face with movable plastic hands, nestled in a die-cut circle so as to be conveniently manipulated from each page. Quite attractive to the children, but on further readings gradually became disturbing. Miffy's life goes along fairly normally for the first part of the day as she gets up at 7, breakfasts at 8, goes to school at 9, and so on hour by hour till she gets picked up by her mother at 3 and stops by the grocery on the way home at 4. Then the show more publishers (or Miffy's mum) decided this had gone on too long already, give Miffy a bath at 5 and stick her in bed at 6. No supper, and no chance of anything to eat until tomorrow at 8. Since we have a lovely tell-the-time book featuring Mama Cat, who makes sure neither she nor her human family ever miss a meal or snack, we don't really need this one. show less

A great little book, both the prose in rhyme and the drawings are just what 2 - 3 year old love.

And I as an adult, loved it too, reading aloud only two words and hearing my son ending the page and listening to his own version of the story when flipping the pages.

Great little book, that I 'read' and talked about with my son. What I liked most is that the drawings give a lot of room for a child's own explanation of what it sees.

Mr. and Mrs. Bunny live in a farmhouse "all alone." Mr. Bunny takes care of the garden; Mrs. Bunny loves to cook delicious things to eat. Then Mr. and Mrs. Bunny think they need a baby bunny to complete their family. They are visited by an angel who tells them they will soon have the baby. Cute little Miffy arrives and the farm animals come to greet her.

This is a great book for a toddler. It is done in rhyming verse, and the pictures are simple with bright colors. I think this is a book that show more 1001 Children's Books You Must Read Before You Grow Up got in the right age group (0-3). show less
