Reviews
A serious and very thorough discussion of the United States Constitution by a Supreme Court justice who was born in Massachusetts in 1779. The appendix includes a number of bonus documents like Washington's "Farewell Address". The book was originally published in 1840. The copy I obtained is a reproduction of the original, copyright 1986.
This book should be read by every single American citizen new and old. The author was an extraordinary man in our early history. Supreme Court justice, founder of Harvard law and continued to teach until his death. This lays out just what our Constitution means as to the intent of the founding fathers. Remarkable and needed at this time.
