Jiddisch : das Abenteuer einer Sprache ; mit kleinem Lexikon jiddischer Wter und Redensarten sowie jiddischer Anekdoten by Salcia Landmann
I liked it as an introduction to Yiddish. The anecdote sampler was good, the chapters on the history and features of the language were somewwat repetitive and the style felt a little bit dated.
