Received this book as an ARC. I enjoyed the story and would read the other books in the series. My main issue with this book is "Eve" was not very believable and most of the book was extremely weak. It was hard to like her. The romance itself had nice pacing. They didn't jump right into bed or say "I love you" after one day of knowing each other.

There were quite a few spelling and grammatical errors in the second half of the book.

I recently answered the author's survey and 5 of us were selected to receive an Amazon Gift Card. I selected the 1st novel in "An Angel Mountain Series" as after a particularly hot summer's day (even with a/c) the cover looked refreshing, the title soothing, and the description open to possibilities that a man's broken heart might be healed with a child's faith, hope, and love in the season of goodwill and glad tidings.

Sometimes I've found it refreshing to read Christmas novels at any time show more throughout the year and not only during the holiday season. With all the negativity in today's world it restores the soul to remember that not only can your own heart be healed after feeling broken by life's experiences but that you can be the person that helps someone else heal their heart.

The author tells a beautifully written, inspirational story that reminds one how precious it is when the spirit of Christmas characterizes the actions given from the heart all year-round and especially the joy of making a child's Christmas wish come true.

"For it is in giving that we receive."~St. Francis of Assisi

For all those that love the Christmas stories of faith, hope, and love by Richard Paul Evans and especially those that have enjoyed "The Christmas Tree Keeper" by Tamara Passey.

Laurie LeClair has been a favorite of mine from the time I fell into her Once Upon a Romance Series. Her stories are sweeter than any greeting card, smoother than silk and as addictive as a chocolate cake. The Cowboy's Rebellious Bride highlights the best of Ms. Leclair. She simplifies what humanity tends to complicate. To understand what love is, we have to first find it within ourselves. That message shines brightly with every character she writes. Her tales open up the heart and that is show more what I love most about them. show less
Can love be that simple? Cassidy had no choice but to come back home to rest and hopefully get her voice back again. She just never expected to run into her ex Ryder so soon. Cassidy broke his heart when she left him to live her dream and seeing her brings it all back. But he has more important things to worry about. He needs to finish building his house and keep on trying to be a better Dad to his daughter Molly. Cassidy is shocked to find out that he has a daughter and who he married but show more then she realizes that she left him and gave him no real reason why?
Molly wants a new Mom and her hero is Cassidy so she works her magic and hopes that everything works out. But can Cassidy & Ryder move forward from the past and get a second chance together?
A good read I received a copy in exchange for my honest review via Tule.
