Good story with excellent character development. Personally, I felt that the big mystery around the heroine could have come out earlier in the story to create another level of angst outside of the bedroom. And, the ending did wrap up rather quickly. Not that a big manhunt was needed, but more of an elaboration on the main characters' next steps into the future. Maybe that is all covered in the next book of the series. Recommend for the romance readers.

Melanie Shawn does it again! This writing duo has to finish each other's sentences! They manage to write their stories so seamlessly that you can't tell who is writing when. They give so much detail & color that you feel you have actually met the characters in person!

I loved this one! Colton is so sweet & sensitive! I love the fact that he stepped up to take care of his sister, Cara, when his parents backed out of her life when she was diagnosed with cancer. I never hated anyone as much as I did their parents! Their job is to look after & care for their children through everything, not just when the going is good. They are selfish & narcissistic. Bella is strong, sarcastic, loyal & loving! When she was comfortable, she could flip the sarcastic comments, one right after another. However, she wasn't afraid to cry & didn't let life get her down. I can't wait for the next one! I'm not sure how Melanie Shawn can top this one! show less

Sara & Austin are perfect together. Her organization helps him with the B & B he inherited and he reminds her to loosen up & have some fun. Their chemistry was apparent from the moment they first met. Their personalities were complete opposites but they work to each other’s strengths. What was supposed to be a quick visit to a town her grandmother had always spoke of highly is turning into something more important. Can Austin convince her to stay with him?

Melanie Shawn gives her readers show more wonderfully crafted emotional stories time & again. The characters are three dimensional realistic portrayals of small town dwellers. They show both the good & bad of small town life & illustrate it perfectly. This was another wonderful book from a terrific writing duo. show less

Her friend died of cancer & didn't know the name of the father. Jonah was a big fan of fighting & Adriana purchased the pay per view fight as a treat for him. Fate had stepped in since Adrianna recognized Gabe as Jonah's father. She decided to go meet him, explain & get him to take a paternity test. Who knew they'd have such an incredible chemistry?

This book exceeded my expectations! The emotion, the laughter, the tears - It grabbed my attention from the first page & I couldn't put it down. The characters were well developed & realistic. Jonah was allowed to show the emotions any child in his situation would feel. Gabe was an alpha male that still allowed his sensitive side to show & was extremely sympathetic to Jonah's feelings.
